- Original architect unknown. Temple remodel: FFKR Architects
- Groundbreaking 1899
- Dedication August 24th, 1907
- Rededication as a temple: November 2nd, 1997
- Style: A simple colonial-style church format, with rusticated Romanesque Revival stonework around the arched windows. The local sandstone glows beautifully in the sunlight. An additional tower was added for the temple remodel, one slightly higher than the other, following a precedent set in the 19th century Utah temples: Manti, St. George, Logan and Salt Lake. The two-tower design is symbolic of the two priesthoods: Aaronic for the shorter and Melchizedek for the taller tower.
